A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter: he that has found one has found a treasure. — Sirach 6:14

“I really felt that I would never have a friend,” Jessica said to Special Books by Special Kids, a YouTube channel run by a special education teacher who interviews people with various illnesses and disabilities. Jessica has Down syndrome, and she wasn’t sure whether anyone would want to be friends with her because of it, but Jessica’s best friend Aidan says that it’s “a privilege to be friends with such a nice person.”

In the video,  Jessica and Aidan talk about how their friendship improves both their lives.
