When a nonagenarian saw that a youngster was too scared to take the plunge into a swimming pool, he thought he'd try and inspire him.
The air-force veteran, named Michael, took some brave steps to walk to the edge of the diving board and make an impressive splash. However, in the heart-stopping video, as the 95-year-old walked gingerly along the board with his cane, accompanied by a family member, he decided to put on a show.
When he reached the edge of the diving board, Michael decided to flex his muscles to show just how strong and brave he is. (He even had a near slip but that didn't stop him from pulling off his mission.)
To the delight of everyone present, the sporting senior succeeded in his dive. Yet, the real success in his brave act was showing us just how important our elderly generations are in continuing to inspire us throughout our lives.
